Today's learning

I learnt from Dr. Goldsmith not to begin a statement with " No ", "But" or "However".  It works wonders for me and my team.

I learnt today on a typepad blog : "Everything is relative. We just don’t couch every statement with “it depends” or “sometimes” or “maybe” – we expect that people will understand that it’s always implied."

We need to be more clear, precise and definite rather than saying - "it depends", " sometimes", " Perhaps" or " may be".  Sure, there will be times when we are not sure - yet we can certainly make an attempt not to use these at the start of a sentence.  That state of being cautious of not using these words at the beginning of the sentence can change a lot.
